Congressional candidate Steve Montenegro says he never had an inappropriate relationship with a staffer.
Montenegro told the "Washington Examiner" yesterday that he traded text messages for months with a staffer including receiving a topless photo from the woman, but says he did nothing wrong. He said he didn't ask for the photo and tried to protect the woman's career after the incident.
The staffer's attorney said yesterday that his client sent Montenegro nude photos on several occasions and that Montenegro had asked for photos on the Snapchat app.
Montenegro is a Republican looking to take the seat vacated by Trent Franks. He's a Christian minister who has been married since 2009.
