A Muslim scholar who accuses ASU of blocking him from speaking on campus because of his political views is suing the university.
Hatem Bazian's lawsuit says ASU won't allow him to speak about the "boycott, divest, sanction" movement. The so-called BDS movement is aimed at pressuring Israel to change its policies, particularly on Jewish settlements on the West Bank.
ASU says the whole issue is a "misunderstanding."
