A Border Agent is facing charges for claiming he was a U.S. Citizen. Marco Antonio De La Garza Jr. told the Department of Justice he was born in Texas, when he was really born in Mexico.
He's facing passport fraud charges as well as charges related to making false statements on his federal law enforcement background application.
It's unclear how the Arizona resident was able to pass off the phony paperwork to get the job or why he wanted to be a federal agent in the first place.
