Glendale teachers are getting sick. The teachers at Sunset Ridge Elementary School in the Pendergast Elementary School District are expected to protest at the Arizona Capitol today.
It's part of the push for higher wages. The sick out was organized by the folks behind the social media movement - hashtag Red For Ed.
Several other schools in the area may experience the same thing and parents have been notified.
