Thousands of students are gearing up for a massive rally and march in Phoenix this weekend. The march will be held this Saturday at the state Capitol in conjunction with 700 other marches being held across the U.S., including the main event in Washington, D.C.
The March for Our Lives event is aimed at creating more awareness about gun violence. Organizers in Arizona say they want two counselors at every school in the state to help troubled students.
The march comes just weeks after a gunman killed 17 people at a Florida high school.
