Senate candidate and U.S. Representative Martha McSally is taking a tougher stance on immigration reform.
Congresswoman Martha McSally is switching her support away from legislation that offers a pathway to citizenship for undocumented Dreamers. Instead, the Arizona Republican is backing a bill that would not allow them to become U.S. citizens but rather apply for "contingent non-immigrant status".
The "Arizona Republic" reports the shift comes as McSally faces Kelly Ward and Joe Arpaio in the Republican primary in the race to replace Senator Jeff Flake.
