A new poll finds most Republicans think Senator John McCain should retire. The Arizona Republican has been home since December battling brain cancer. A new Rasmussen Reports survey finds 62% of likely Republican voters believe the six-term Senator should retire before May 30th, 27% say he should hang in there and 11% are undecided. If McCain were to resign before the end of the month, Governor Doug Ducey would name an interim senator to fill his seat which would then be on the November ballot. If McCain remains in office past May 30th a special election would be called.
