Paradise Valley Man Tapped By White House

A Paradise Valley man is being tapped by the White House.  President Trump wants to make Don Tapia the new U.S. ambassador to Jamaica.  The 80-year-old Valley man has made millions of dollars in donations to charities and has also donated more than a million dollars primarily to Republicans. Tapia tells the Arizona Republic he has not been to Jamaica for about 20 years but that he's both honored and humbled.  His nomination would need Senate confirmation.
