Dog Driven Home After Wandering 2000 Miles

A lost dog who wandered more than two-thousand miles away from his Peoria home is back home.  Jake, a seven-year-old Coonhound, was found by a good Samaritan in Roaring Springs, Pennsylvania.  When his microchip was scanned, it showed that the pup was registered to someone in Phoenix.  The owners were apparently looking for Jake for the past year.  A transport coordinator for rescued animals arranged for volunteers to pitch in and drive Jake all the way to his owner in Holbrook.  Jake and his owner were reunited today.
