Uber Ends Self Driving Vehicle Testing In Arizona

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  Uber is slowing self-driving operations in Arizona.  The ride-sharing giant released a statement today saying the company is winding down the program, but it will return in the near future.  The move comes after a woman was hit and killed by a self-driving car in Tempe this past March.  Hundreds of people involved in the program in the state will be laid off, but reportedly get career counseling from the company.  Meantime, Uber plans to ramp up self-driving operations in Pittsburgh and San Francisco
