Phoenix police are warning homeowners in several neighborhoods about a scam. Police say the suspect or suspects pose as utility company employees and tell homeowners they are there to perform an inspection on the property. Then they lure the homeowner into the backyard while another suspect burglarizes the home. Police say the con artists appear to be targeting elderly homeowners.
