Several people are in the hospital after a plane made an emergency landing in Prescott. The Malibu Piper single nose-prop aircraft took off from the Los Angeles-area and called for help around 9:00pm Tuesday night. The Prescott Police, the FAA and Prescott airport officials were alerted and ready. The pilot used Iron Springs Road as a makeshift runway. There are reports that say the plane slammed into a light police, causing it to flip onto its roof. Officials say three people were rushed to a nearby hospital to get medical care but they are all expected to survive.
