Plane Makes Emergency Crash Landing

Several people are in the hospital after a plane made an emergency landing in Prescott.  The Malibu Piper single nose-prop aircraft took off from the Los Angeles-area and called for help around 9:00pm Tuesday night.  The Prescott Police, the FAA and Prescott airport officials were alerted and ready.  The pilot used   Iron Springs Road as a makeshift runway.  There are reports that say the plane slammed into a light police, causing it to flip onto its roof.  Officials say three people were rushed to a nearby hospital to get medical care but they are all expected to survive.
