Teachers in Arizona will be getting pay raises soon, but if they move they can get one today. A handful of new billboards in Phoenix from the Texas Fort Worth Independent School District says starting salary for a teacher is 52-grand a year, which is a massive jump from what a new teacher in Arizona is making. The district has signs on the Loop 202, State Route 51, Interstate 10 and off 7th and Lincoln streets. Texas school officials also placed some billboards in Oklahoma in an attempt to steal young, talented teachers from that state as well.
