Trial For Accused NAU Shooter Delayed Again

The trial for the man accused of a deadly shooting on the Northern Arizona University campus in 2015 is being delayed again.  A Coconino County Superior Court judge today approved a request from the attorneys for Steven Jones to move the start of the trial to an undetermined future date.  Jones is charged with first-degree murder and six counts of aggravated assault in the October 2015 shooting that left one student dead and three others injured on the Flagstaff campus.  His first trial ended in a hung jury.  Jones insists he shot in self-defense when an argument and fight escalated.  He's currently out of custody awaiting retrial.
