Gosar Wants To Cut Administrator's Salary To $1

Paul Gosar

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  Arizona Representative Paul Gosar wants to use an obscure law to cut a federal power agency administrator's pay down to just a dollar because of alleged misconduct.  Mark Gabriel oversees the one-point-one billion dollar Western Area Power Administration. Gabriel has been in hot water over allegations whistle blower reprisal and mismanagement.  Gosar wants to use the so-called Holman Rule, first enacted in 1876, that gives Congress the authority to drastically reduce a federal employee's pay.
