(Phoenix, AZ) Investigators have recovered a 40 Caliber Glock handgun in the Scottsdale Extended Stay hotel room that had been rented by Dwight Jones. And they say ballistics has linked that gun to the first four victims of Jones' 4 day murder spree. Scottsdale Police also say they now believe that Jones and the Fountain Hills victims, Mary Simmons and Bryon Thomas, had been friends and would occasionally meet to play at local parks. Still no word as to why Jones targeted them. His other 4 victims had ties to his divorce. Jones killed himself in Scottsdale hotel room on Monday, as officers were closing in on him.
