Sky Harbor Airport is getting a multi-million dollar grant for repairs. The U.S. Department of Transportation announced today the airport would receive a little over seven-million-dollars for reconstruction on an area where planes park, load and unload passengers.
This is part of a six-hundred-million-dollar grant from the Federal Aviation Administration that will go to airports all over the country.
Information about when the reconstruction will start has not yet been released.
