(Scottsdale, AZ) -- The man who kidnapped an elderly Scottsdale woman is headed to prison. Ian Michael Nielsen was sentenced to 25 years today in a plea agreement for attempted second degree murder and kidnapping. Last fall, Nielsen abducted a 94-year-old woman from her home, bound her with zip ties and put her in the trunk of a car. Despite her injuries, she was later able to escape the vehicle which had been abandoned near Scottsdale Fashion Square mall.
