(Phoenix, AZ) The Secretary Of State's office says they received ballot initiative petition signatures from three groups before the deadline. All the groups claim they've collected more than enough signatures to make it onto the November ballot. The Invest in Education Act would raise the income tax rate on those making more than $250,000 to help fund education. The Clean Energy for a Health Arizona Amendment would require Arizona utilities to get at least 50% of its electricity from renewable sources by the year 2030. And the Outlaw Dirty Money Amendment would require entities that spend more than $10,000 on a campaign to report everyone who contributed $2500 or more. The Secretary of State's Office still needs to verify signatures before the measures make it onto the ballot.
