Senator Jeff Flake is hoping to reassure United States' NATO alies that the U.S. remains committed to the alliance.
On CNN's "State of the Union," the Arizona Republican said while he was glad President Trump was pressuring member states to increase their defense spending, many member states are concerned with the rhetoric coming from the Trump administration.
Senator Flake just returned from a multi-national trip throughout Europe where he met with the leaders of several NATO allies.
