A former Arizona lawmaker is blaming Representative Michelle Ugenti-Rita for his demise. Don Shooter says the Republican from Scottsdale defamed him after publicly accusing him of sexual harassment.
Ugenti-Rita is legally going after Shooter for causing her emotional distress. Shooter's attorney has since filed a counter claim and denied all the accusations, but says some of the alleged behavior happened outside the statute of limitations.
Shooter's lawsuit filed late last week says he not only suffered emotional distress, but a financial loss.
