Progressive darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gaffed Friday night while campaigning for a Democrat in Kansas.
That's to be expected, right? She's young, socialist and vapid.
However, Ocasio-Cortez did pull off a big upset in last month's primary against top House Democrat Joe Crowley in New York’s 14th District. That's a big freaking deal and the socialist wing of the Democrat party is cashing in on it. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is making the rounds, laying glittering jewels of ignorance at every stop. Her latest was accidental but it's too good to ignore. On Friday night while campaigning alongside socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Ocasio-Cortez said this in a message on Sanders' Twitter account:
I think Ocasio-Cortez got her colors mixed up! That's to be expected since the Democrat Party used to be red. The mainstream media switched political party colors back in 2004. She should have known that, but I guess no one told her. She gaffed and we'll take it. After the elections, let’s start a campaign to paint Democrat socialists the true color of their ideology... red!
