Governor Ducey TriesTo Repeal Legislative Immunity

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  Governor Doug Ducey wants to repeal "legislative immunity" from the state Constitution.  In a tweet, Ducey says he will make the issue one of the first orders of business in the next session.  The announcement comes just days after the Governor signed an executive order calling on state troopers to ticket lawmakers if they break the law outside of the legislative session or 15 days before.  Democrats have sponsored identical measures but GOP lawmakers did not schedule a committee hearing for the proposals.
