New Details About Man In DPS Trooper Shooting

We are learning some new details about the man accused of shooting and killing a rookie Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper.  Court documents released Monday say 20-year old Isaac King was under the influence of an undisclosed substance at the time of the murder.

Investigators say King grabbed a trooper's gun and opened fire leaving DPS Trooper Tyler Edenhofer to die.

King reportedly has no criminal record, but has what law enforcement is calling a mental health history and takes medication for anxiety and depression.
