Phoenix Retail Vacancy Rates At Pre-Recession Lows

The vacancy rate for the Phoenix retail market is the lowest it's been since the Great Recession.  Numbers released to the Phoenix Business Journal by Velocity Retail Group show the retail vacancy rate at the end of the second quarter to be seven-point-eight percent.

That's just under the figure of seven-point-nine percent for the end of the same quarter in 2008.  Job growth, population increases and lower unemployment were all cited as factors.
