Judge Rules Commission Can Control Utility

The Arizona Corporation Commission can have control of Johnson Utilities.  The Arizona Capitol Times says the George H. Johnson Revocable Trust, which owns the utility, tried to block the commission from taking it over.  But a federal judge ruled yesterday against the trust, saying the commission wasn't seizing ownership, just control and even then only temporarily.

Johnson Utilities has been in trouble over allegations of poor management including inaccurate bills, low water pressure and sewage spills.
