An ASU professor is urging people to look in their yards for possible meteorites. Cody Horvath of Glendale says he found a space rock in his backyard in July. ASU professor Laurence Garvie of the university's Center for Meteorite Studies confirms the rock is a meteorite and says there are likely other fragments in the area. He asks anyone within two miles of Deer Valley Road and 75th Avenue in Glendale to look for black rocks in their yard that weren't there before.
