(Phoenix, AZ) -- Both people aboard a small plane that crashed in Phoenix this morning have died. One was pronounced dead on the scene, and another died from injuries at a hospital. The home-built single engine aircraft went down just before 7 o'clock this morning near 7th Street and Deer Valley Road. Several cars on the road were hit by the plane, but no one on the ground was hurt. Investigators are now trying to figure out what went wrong.
