Election Report Will Not Be Made Public

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes is back tracking and will not release a report about election day problems.  Fontes said on the advice of attorneys for the Recorder's Office he has turned the report back to the county for an audit.

On primary election day,  62 polling places were not ready to open at 6 a.m. when voting was suppose to begin.  Other problems included voters receiving incorrect ballots and concerns over the security of ballots.  Fontes said he'd rather concentrate on getting things right for the November election.
