Governor Doug Ducey is ordering flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff.
The order comes as a way to remember the victims of the 9-11 terrorist attacks 17 years ago at the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Flags are to remain at half-staff until sunset this evening. Nearly three-thousand people were killed in the attacks.
