Senator Susan Collins decided to confirm Brett Kavanaugh based on the facts that were presented in front of her. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford claims she is 100% sure it was Kavanaugh. Brett Kavanaugh says with 100% certainty that he was not Ford's attacker.
So it came down to the evidence with which there was ZERO CORROBORATING EVIDENCE to back up Ford's claims.
But leave it to Sen. Mazie Hirono to call that assessment by Susan Collins as "insulting."
You know what I find insulting---the fact that you want to indict a man on sexual assault charges with zero corroborating evidence and are taking HER side with no questions asked!
The more this woman talks the less credible the case seems to get.
Presuming guilt over innocence is not a good luck for you Ms. Hirono. Any of your fellow colleagues who believe that to be the case as well should rethink their current strategy.
