(Phoenix, AZ) -- A Southwest Key facility in the West Valley is suspending operations over allegations of abuse involving staff members and detained immigrant children being housed at the facility. Hacienda Del Sol in Youngtown suspended operations on Friday. A statement from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says allegations of physical abuse involved staff and three children. The statement did not give details about the alleged abuse, only saying it happened in mid-September. The staff members have been fired and all the children at the facility have been relocated to other locations.
