Phoenix Church Housing Immigrants

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  A Phoenix church is providing temporary shelter to about 100 asylum seekers released by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  Shadow Rock United Church of Christ  says in a statement that the church is among several organizations around the state who were asked by ICE to help. ICE says it released the individuals and families to try to stay in compliance with rules on how long they may be held at detention centers.
