A military memorial is under fire by an HOA in Surprise. A family recently put up a magnet on their garage door saying Freedom is not Free, Remembering Sgt. John Daggett, US Army Airborne Ranger. Daggett died in 2008 in the line of duty and his sister put up the sign to honor him.
AZ Family is reporting that the family has been fined for the sign, but Daggett's sister says she doesn't understand why people aren't getting fined for putting up Halloween decorations.
