(Phoenix, AZ) Five Valley residents are charged with bilking elderly consumers out of a million dollars in a telemarketing scheme. A federal grand jury has returned a 24-count indictment against them on charges of conspiracy, fraud and mail fraud. Federal prosecutors claim the telemarketers and their employees used fake names to promote a bogus investment opportunity. If convicted, Brandon Ball, Trevor Gabler, Gordon Hardy, Jackie Whitley and Brian Gibson could face prison time and stiff fines.
