Phoenix Wages Up

By Debra Dale
Nov 2, 2018

(Phoenix, AZ) Workers in the Phoenix area earn more than they did a year ago.  New figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show wages and salaries for private industry employees grew three-point-four percent from September 2017 to September 2018, outpacing the national average.  When benefits are figured in, the cost to employers rose a bit less -- three percent.  The BLS releases these figures quarterly.
