Occasionally the Left decides to embrace having a spine and speak out about the radical nature that the party has fallen into over the past few elections.
Joe Lieberman may be on to something when he calls out the party for embracing candidates of certain ideologies.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may be the bright new star that won her election in the 2018 midterms but Lieberman would advise against the party going all in on following a blueprint that involves candidates like her.
Is he admitting that following socialism is not what is best for the party?
Is he saying that inexperienced candidates who do not know the issues are a bad choice going forward?
Is he telling his party that using unintelligent people in elected offices going to be a detriment to the party and the country?
The 2020 election is all politicians have on their mind now and they know that they are still swimming upstream against Donald Trump and his supporters.
They are still mad about the 2016 election and many of them are still running based on Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Ocasio-Cortez and socialism will not win that battle or war in 2020 and Lieberman knows it.
