Mesa Man Accused Of Killing Neighbor's Dog

(Mesa, AZ)  --  A Mesa man has been arrested after admitting to shooting and killing a neighbor's dog.  Sixty-three-year-old Andrew Evans claims that his neighbor's pit bull bit him and attacked his chihuahua, leaving it with severe injuries.  Mesa Police say Evans entered his neighbor's home and shot the pit bull.  Police say Evans admitted he shot the dog twice in its head while it was locked in its cage.  He's charged with killing an animal, disorderly conduct, and burglary.
