AZ GOP Memo Lays Blame For McSally's Senate Loss

The internal memo, obtained by the Washington Post, list a number of factors as contributing to Martha McSally's narrow loss to Kyrsten Sinema for an Arizona Senate seat eariler this month.

Party leaders blame a brutal primary, name recognition and a segment of voters in the party who harbor hostility towards President Trump.

The late Senator John McCain's name is often mentioned in the memo, citing his opposition to the President as a key factor in divisions in the state Republican party.
