City Water Works Wants A Rate Increase

It may soon cost you more for water in Phoenix.  The City Water Services Department says water rates need to be increased six-percent over each of the next two years.  They say the money will be used to repair and maintain the equipment.

Water officials say the increase would be about two-bucks more a month for the average consumer in 2019 and just over two dollars and thirty cents a month in 20-20.  The department will vote on the issue next week.
