Jesuit Priest Sex Abuse Scandal Hits Close To Home

(Phoenix, AZ)  A new report shows eight Jesuit priests who worked at Phoenix's Brophy High School over the years had sexual assault allegation against them deemed credible. The report from the Jesuits West Province of the Society of Jesus, which assigns priest in ten states, lists all member priests who've had allegations against them deemed credible since 1950. The report does not spell out sexual abuse claims at Brophy, just claims made against priests who worked there at some points in their careers. Only one of the accused priests who had worked at Brophy is still living.
