Phoenix police are investigating a traffic accident this morning near Southern Avenue and Central that killed a 15-year-old boy.
Police say the teen was crossing the street mid-block at about 7 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. He died a short time later.
Police say the driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
