Ducey: No Plans For Car Registration Fee Repeal

Governor Doug Ducey is warning lawmakers he has no intentions of repealing or reducing a new vehicle registration fee.

The 32-dollar per vehicle fee is estimated to bring in around 185-million dollars and fund the highway patrol.

Scottsdale Republican Representative Michelle Ugenti-Rita introduced a bill last week to get rid of the fee.  Ducey yesterday said getting behind such a bill was not on his priority list.
