A Kingman man is going to prison after threatening President Donald Trump's life. Thirty-nine-year-old Jerrod Schmidt, called the Nebraska Supreme Court and Court of Appeals in April and left four voicemails threatening to kill the president and other government and court officials.
The Secret Service says Schmidt stated on the voicemail he was going to kill President Trump and put a bullet in his head. Schmidt was sentenced to over three years for the threats.
He previously served nine years in prison in Nebraska for child molestation and filed motions claiming he was wrongfully imprisoned.
