(Phoenix, AZ) -- The Salvation Army in Phoenix is running short of its holiday Red Kettle goal with just five days left in the campaign. The charity says statewide, donations to red kettles are down 17-percent from last year. It has so far taken in 62-percent of its goal of raising three-point-18 million dollars over the holiday season. Money dropped in red kettles makes up 20-percent of all donations to the Salvation Army in Arizona each year.
