Governor Doug Ducey okays a natural gas pipeline in Arizona. The agreement will allow New Mexico to send its excess natural gas through Arizona to Mexico for eventual sale to countries in Asia. The natural gas will be sent to a plant in Sonora that will compress the gas into liquefied form.
Governor Ducey says he signed the four year agreement out of goodwill and a way to promote binational trade. A timeline and route for the pipeline has not been announced.
