It was a bad night for the Democrat leaders. President Trump won the optics battle hands down! For a party that likes to celebrate diversity they sure looked awfully old and white. The Democrats also lost the content battle. Trump was fact checked in real time and came out clean. Did any lefties bother to fact check Chuck and Nancy? Nope. That's bad optics as well.
President Trump had a couple of great lines and took some powerful jabs are Democrat leadership. All of them landed however, this was the line of the night!
"Some suggested a barrier is immoral. Then why do politicians build walls around their homes? They don't build walls because they hate people on the outside. But because they love the people on the inside. The only thing that's immoral is politicians who do nothing."
Once again, the Left underestimates Trump and they get burned.
