Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow freshman fem Democrats warriors had a plan. Find Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, hand him a written petition from Democrats demanding he put a Democrat signed funding bill to a vote, get headlines, look like a hero.
Apparently, Ocasio-Cortez forgot she was Ocasio-Cortez, however, and the entire plan ended up going south.
Alex the socialist gathered a gaggle of reporters and a squad of Democrats to march over to the Senate side of the capitol like conquering heroes to hand-deliver the message to McConnell and end the shutdown…with a letter…from Democrats. However, she could find McConnell's office!
