Arizona Gives Up Driver's License Appeal

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  After years of fighting in court, the state of Arizona will issue driver's licenses to all DACA recipients.  Governor Ducey is ordering attorneys to give up trying to appeal a judge's order to issue licenses to anyone the federal government has allowed to remain in the country.  The court fight began when former Governor Jan Brewer directed ADOT not to issue licenses to those protected by the Obama administration's DACA program. She had argued that recipients' presence in the country was not authorized by federal law.
